How are these services paid?

GENESIS Total Healthcare accepts reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid, most HMOS, veterans benefits, workers compensation, private health insurance, long-term care insurance, auto insurance, and other government programs. We also accept private pay set up by convenient pay program.   Our goal is to help you have peace of mind by streamlining the process. We have reimbursement specialists who can handle all the paperwork for you. We contact insurance payors to determine levels of home health coverage, and then bill the appropriate plan directly. We also help in accessing reimbursement from long-term care insurance providers. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you throughout the process and answer many of your questions directly.

How do you ensure I receive excellent care?

The care you receive from our professional staff is the result of years of experience and dedication to excellence in service and safety standards. GENESIS Total Healthcare staff of professionals are supervised by registered nurses (RN) and clinical managers. Care Coordination is achieved by a team approach where communication and collaboration of care ensures positive clinical outcomes. Supervision by expert clinicians promote quality visits and assess standards of care are being met. Ongoing education for our managers and care teams promotes continuance in quality. We are also accredited and reviewed by Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).

How do you hire caregivers?

GENESIS Total Healthcare verifies work history, credentials, and references and performs thorough background checks. Our health care professionals also undergo an in-depth interview process, written testing, and hands-on skills assessments, and annual skills assessments with ongoing training and supervision after hire. They must also demonstrate a commitment to delivering care with compassion, excellence, and reliability

Are you available 24/7?

Yes. We can provide services up to 24 hours a day and there is always a local on-call manager who can answer your questions and address any after-hours questions or concerns. The on-call manager also provides around-the-clock clinical support for your GENESIS Total Healthcare care team while they are providing care in the home.
